A living room gathered on a large patterned rug

Rugs

A rug draws the furniture into one place. The rest of the floor can stay calm.

Introduction

Layered, not merely laid down

Rugs are part of the Taksh Decor range, for homes and commercial rooms. A specific fibre is not claimed here — that is confirmed when you see the piece. The useful distinctions are the ones you can plan with: a statement rug, a contemporary ground, a traditional-inspired pattern, and how the rug sits with the sofa and the floor beneath it.

Statement rugs

One clear piece under the seating, large enough that the chairs sit fully on it. Pattern or pile does the talking; the room around it stays simpler.

Contemporary rugs

Quieter grounds, abstract fields, and shapes that suit a modern plan. Scale is checked against the sofa, not against a catalogue thumbnail.

Traditional-inspired rugs

Patterns with an older cadence, used in rooms that want that warmth. The exact design is chosen in the showroom.

Layering

A rug over a plain floor, or over a carpet, to mark the place where people sit. Carpets are the other half of that decision.

Room styling

Where the rug does its work

Living rooms usually need the front legs of the seating on the rug. Bedrooms can take a softer piece at the side of the bed, or a larger field if the floor is hard. Both are easier to judge in the showroom, with the curtain and sofa cloth nearby.

Seen at size

A rug changes when you stand on it. The showroom is for that, not only for a photograph.
